Ultraviolet introduces FRÉQUENCES, a collaborative music and audiovisual project built around a conceptual EP that brings together multiple artists to tell one connected story.
Rather than presenting a collection of unrelated tracks, FRÉQUENCES is structured as a journey through the different emotional stages that can shape relationships and experiences of love. Each song represents a specific chapter of the story, performed through the voice, sensitivity and artistic universe of a different artist.
The narrative moves through meeting, attachment, confusion, toxicity, loss and reconstruction, with every artist offering their own interpretation of these different emotional phases. This approach allows each track to stand on its own while taking on a deeper meaning when experienced as part of the complete EP.
The project features Darryl Croiset, Demala, Legats, Navyy, Mois, Melekance and Frank Renell, bringing together different artistic identities across R&B, Afro and Pop.
A Collective Creative Project
Beyond the music, FRÉQUENCES is designed as a wider creative collaboration. The project aims to highlight the participating artists while also giving recognition to the many creatives involved behind the scenes, including beatmakers, sound engineers, directors, photographers, graphic designers and stylists.
The audiovisual direction plays an important role in extending the story beyond the songs. The project will be supported by official music videos, short-form content, immersive VHS-style videos and a social-media mini-series, with the visuals designed to create a consistent and recognizable world around the EP.
From Individual Stories to One Shared Narrative
At its core, FRÉQUENCES is about collaboration — bringing different voices and creative perspectives together around a common story.
Each artist contributes to a different part of the journey, allowing listeners to experience love and relationships through multiple perspectives. The result is intended to showcase both the individuality of the participating artists and the strength of the collective project.
The music will be released across streaming platforms including Spotify and Apple Music, through the Ultraviolet page in collaboration with the participating artists. Official videos will be released on the Ultraviolet YouTube channel, alongside the project’s wider visual content.
FRÉQUENCES ultimately brings together music, storytelling and visual creativity in one collaborative project — a journey through connection, emotion, loss and rebuilding, told through several artistic voices.
FRÉQUENCES is a collective music project, a story about love and relationships, and a creative collaboration built to spotlight the amazing artists and talents behind it.
